Nikolas Håkans Appointed as DMD of Maritime Operations at Alfons Håkans Marine
Alfons Håkans is strengthening its executive leadership by appointing Nikolas Håkans as Deputy Managing Director of Maritime Operations.
Nikolas Håkans has previously worked within the maritime operations of the Håkans Group as a project manager and has also served as a board member of Håkans companies.
He will assume his new role on March 1, 2025, and will be responsible for implementing the company’s strategic objectives and strengthening operational activities in an ever-evolving business environment.

The roots of the family-owned company Alfons Håkans stretch back more than a century. As the
largest private towing and maritime rescue company in the Northern Baltic Sea, the company
has remained family-owned since 1896. The appointment of Nikolas Håkans as the DMD of Shipping
